Shayla Tharp
Shayla Tharp (she/they) is an Actor and Voice-Over Artist from Iowa, USA, with a deep passion for performance. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from CSUN in Los Angeles, where she gained experience on both stage and television. Since 2012, Shayla has been assisting two-time Emmy Award winner Kristen Johnston with various on-set duties, including helping with lines and supporting production needs, currently contributing to the development of a new Netflix show, Leanne.Shayla further expanded her training by earning her MFA in Acting from the University of Essex, East 15, in London. During her studies, she focused on dialects, vocal techniques, and voice acting, specifically working on mastering accents using the IPA chart. She also had the opportunity to perform in the West End production of Tony N Tina’s Wedding, gaining invaluable stage experience.In addition to acting, Shayla is a dedicated voice-over artist, lending her voice to a variety of projects on platforms such as Audible, Google Play, Spotify, and PocketFM.
