Shayla Tharp (she/they) is an Actor and Voice-Over Artist from Iowa, USA, with a deep passion for performance. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from CSUN in Los Angeles, where she gained experience on both stage and television.Shayla further expanded her training by earning her MFA from the University of Essex, in London. Where she studied Theatre with a focus on Voice and Speech under esteemed vocal coaches Christina Gutekunst and Colin Sadler. Specializing in the General British dialect, Shayla brings precision, versatility, and authenticity to every project. She runs her own voice-over business, lending her voice to commercials, audiobooks, video games, and more. With a strong foundation in proper vocal technique for actors, she blends technical skill with storytelling finesse. Currently based in Los Angeles, Shayla is also working with two-time Emmy winner Kristen Johnston, helping her for the upcoming Warner Brothers series Leanne.In 2023 she performed off the West End in the immersive production of Tony n Tina's Wedding.
